Week 13 of Marine Corps Marathon training!
The plan for the week:
- Monday: 5 miles
- Tuesday: 8 miles
- Wednesday: 5 miles
- Thursday: 5 miles
- Friday: rest
- Saturday: rest
- Sunday: 20 miles (long run)
Since I am overnight babysitting Friday into Saturday I needed to switch my long run to Sunday morning.
Monday, September 19th
5 miles on the treadmill due to a very rainy morning and strength training
Broke up into two runs due to my work day.
3.11 miles before 6:00am around the neighborhood and 2.12 miles on the trail after a morning meeting.
5.23 miles total!
Wednesday, September 21st
5 miles at Wilson Farm Park
Thursday, September 22nd
8 miles on the Chester Valley Trail
I had an overnight babysitting gig into Saturday morning so doing my long run with the hubby was not in the cards this weekend. Plus having Saturday afternoon/evening plans so since field hockey practice was canceled I was able to squeeze in a shorter long run which is better than nothing at all.
Saturday, September 24th
Sunday, September 25th
Rest day- but did a family walk with the hubby and the pup.
Overall, great way to round off the week!
